Top 5 Strategies for Study Recruiting

You're already connected to people who will enthusiastically join and promote for your study - here's how to reach them
  1. Tell your friends. Word of mouth is still the most effective method of networking. Ask friends if your title works or if they’ll help you recruit. Use your study as a conversation starter at parties.

  2. Call your mom. Seriously. She knows more than you think. Ask her if it’s a good idea to do the study and what’s good and bad about it. Even better, she might join your study and invite her knitting club to join. Having your mom – or anyone – listen to your study is very helpful. Study ideas take a different form when you describe them to others. Seek out people who will give you honest feedback. (Solve your problems by saying them out loud)

  3. Facebook it. Post about your study to friends. Include a link to your study. Get friends engaged in discussion. It’s a great way for people to preview your study. Visit Genomera’s facebook page and tell the existing community about your study.

  4. Use Genomera. We're here for you. We’ll advise on study design and help spread the word. We can provide you a custom link to your study that lets others join even though we are in private beta. Pro tip: I'm the community manager and I read all my emails.

  5. Tweet it. It doesn't get any simpler. Reach out to your network for participants, advisors, co-organizers and promoters. Do it now, do it often. Remember to tweet a link to your study and to ask others to retweet. Tweet your study @genomera and I promise we'll retweet.
